Energy Grid

Energy can be conjured up in many ways. As I am typing this out, I am surrounded by Siri playing a musical station featuring stringed instruments. So lovely how a violin and a viola cut through the air changing vibrations we can feel deeply. Scents attract many species into our space, the nose is keen for an animal’s survival. Essential oils permeate my cells today because I anointed myself before I started writing this blog. A candle glows as oxygen and fire do the tango they have done over thousands of years. Energy involves action in one form or another. We can amply this force by awareness, respect, and involvement (to but name a few ways)!

Grid work is a playful strategy of moving power which is circling us at every moment. Adding good intentions, directing loving suggestions, incorporating pieces of nature helps with coping in day to day life. Turning to the outdoors, taking earth magic and infusing the wonder into our energy field causes shifts in our being. Meditating on the imagery of an energy grid allows ripples and quakes in our mind’s pool of thought. Clarity fused with renewed pep is often the outcome of an energy grid. This is a remote technique and is a fun, colorful way to try out the mystique of shifting day to day life as you know it!

Without Voice-boxes Come Voices from Nature

My relationship with the mineral kingdom keeps on growing as I learn more and develop my bond with nature. Each day I learn more of who I am, deep within my soul. Several months ago, a video was brought to my attention of a boy (aged 7) talking about crystals grids. I watched the video with tears in my eyes from the amazement of knowledge he spoke with. HIs relationship with rocks was similar to mine, the difference was he talked so openly and freely about it where as I tend to keep to myself. He has gotten a lot of recognition and developed his voice as more videos have been recorded. I’m sure you will enjoy looking up articles and events he is part of. Adam, The Crystal Grid Maker, has helped me realize the conversations or inner truths do happen as easily as we breath.

February is Love Month!

February-Month-of-Love-1-300x245

For the calendar’s L-O-V-E month, I thought I would offer up a caring deal for those of you seeking energy work.

There are a few choices you have for taking me up on a reduced session this month. Being local to CT makes holding a face to face meeting something we can plan for. I wrote about what to expect from spending an hour with me on WordPress several years back. Every experience is different as is every time we work together. I have changed my craft but the base, the main components are still the same. What you may find different with me verses other practitioners you have encountered is my willingness to listen to my intuition, guides, and guest speakers.

If travel around Connecticut U.S.A is not in your future, please know there are other ways we can communicate sending healing energies your way. Everyone, no matter where they live or what extra time their calendar allows can benefit from remote work. Energy is free flowing. We know it works well through power lines being noticeable throughout our landscape with large power stations and transformers. Like radio waves, broadcasting or beaming healing energy shares a similar movement though the air. I wrote a short piece on this blog recently about the Reiki practice of formulating a grid. Another way to transmit messages and helpful inspirations is though shaman journeying.

Either way you choose energy work, I am sure you will find it fun and helpful on many levels. If interested, I can go into more detail in the comments area. Please know we can chat privately by Email too.

Benefits of a Reiki Grid

antahkaranafemalecardstockOP700F

I have set up two recently and marvel at the power generated from placing quartz crystals in a pattern and drawing Reiki symbols over them (usually done with a wand). Because of my relationship with the mineral kingdom, I typically add other gems to the grid. Each set up is uniquely different. I always have a fun time communicating with the crystals and learning who wants to go where and how the energy should flow by adjusting points and positions. The Antahkarana Symbol (above) is the base for the crystals with other mineral friends joining in and placed here and there.

When I feel the personalized grid is at it’s peak, I take a picture to share with the individual who requested the remote Reiki treatment. For respect of privacy, I do not share any of these photos on social media. Therefore, you probably have not seen this aspect of my energy work I adore. I would be happy to set one up on your behalf! The grid is great for energy balancing, wiggling out stagnancy within our systems, shifting inner focus, healing wounds known and unrealized, giving extra pep to our bodies, and of course many other pieces not fully recognized to assist us to become greater.

Edit adding in February 2018 to share more information on my grid development and set up, please know change is very important with energy work. Nature does not stay the same, life does not stay the same, methods alter and switch. Over the years, I’ve used different designs other than the Antahkarana which I originally learned with. Other metaphysical tools have come in and out of grid set-ups with sound (vibration) being a notable addition to this remote work. A detailed write up and pictures are sent to you daily for as long as the grid is active (minimum of 3 days).

What to Expect from an Energy Session

Sometimes giving too much of an explanation is not necessarily a good thing, especially when you are skeptical to begin with. However, some type of introduction to what you are about to experience can be helpful and even tamp down some of those I don’t know if this is for me feelings. In my opinion, the receiver has to be willing and ready in order for healing energy to be absorbed gracefully. When a first time client comes to me, I typically tell them what to expect from an energy session from me… and it goes a little like this:

You (fully clothed) will be situated in a safe and relaxing environment (my living room) seated in a reclining lounge chair with blankets and pillows. It will not be a massage but every now and then I will place my hands on your arms or legs, which is referred to as “light touch”. Music can be playing or not, it is easy for me to taylor the surroundings to your comfort level.

Because I love the mineral kingdom, rocks are all around this room (as well as the house) and I often used them while conducting energy work. The method that I use is a mixture of modalities that I have learned over the years and the technique is by instinct (rather than by books or notes). Because I believe in the power and energy of rocks, sometimes I will ask you to hold them or will place them under the chair you’re on.

My physic skills have improved allowing for a dialog of sorts to happen between us. I can usually pick up on what your body wants or needs to improve health. I also get  communications which may be important on some level regarding just about anything.  This information, along with other messages, can be shared with you, if you wish. I make a strong attempt to just tell you what I am picking up on and allow you to decipher the messages.

Each healing practitioner is different and has undergone various trainings from teachers and workshops. Just like with many things in life, it might take awhile to find a good match for this type of work. I encourage you to try new things and ask for the sample package if you are not willing to undergo a full session. In my opinion someone who is looking out for your best interest will answer your questions and share information on how they have come to practice energy work.

My take on magic wands.

For the past few years, I’ve conducted wand making workshops. The store where I’m offering my home-based workshops would like a demonstration of how to use a wand in energy work. Next month I will be holding a workshop introducing wand work to people who are interested. I plan on bringing the handout I give to the making group and will use that as my blue index cards. I would like to make it very causal with lots of participation, actually this is how I conduct many of my workshops. Below is a writing on wands and pretty close to what one would expect from attending.

I crafted my own wand because I wanted one and could not find any that seemed right for me, as simple as that. I don’t belong to a specific religious group or craft, I wanted something that would amplify my wishes and needed a wand.

In my bag of White Sage there was a stem about 7 inches long. I found it by unraveling one of my sage bundles. That seemed to be the perfect base for a wand, especially since White Sage has clearing properties and would be beneficial to keep the wand clear at all times. I am against using glue (another reason for not purchasing in shops) therefore beads would be strung and wrapped around. Looking through my life long bead collection I chose ones I loved, making sure a variety was incorporated ensuring the most magic and beauty a wand could contain.

“What can you use a wand for?” is a common question I’m asked. Again, the answer is simple, “What ever your heart desires!” I use the wand above to make wishes. When I need support, the wand travels with me. Sitting on the kitchen window sill fills the wand with energy and sparkles when the sun hits it just right. My wands make me happy and feeling special. Taking aim at what I’m striving to achieve is more doable with a wand in hand.

There are several I have crafted for myself and several I have given as gifts, along with consigning them. All are unique, even those that seem to be similar in color or structure had a different feeling about them. I have developed a wand making workshop, none of those are quite the same either. The amazement and joy I get from hosting a workshop or adorning a tree branch is something to be experienced because it’s difficult to put it into words. I’ve tried to give descriptions for advertising and have worked on signage for displays but it really is something to participate in to get the full understanding.

A list of my personal wands to date:

My First Wand     (rewrapped once cause of a life lesson learned)

Ancestor Wand   (adorned with button collections of women present and past)

Fairy Wand          (sparkles, shimmers and dangling chip stones)

Quarts Point Wand     (nickname, The Amplifier)

ChakraWand       (Rainbow chip stones and glass seed beads)

Elemental-Series-Wands  (Earth, Fire and Water are completed)

Part 3: Hallelujah

What followed was about 20 minutes of singing various versions of hallelujah. Sound is a fantastic way to bring things (all inclusive word) to a neutral level of vibration or raises it higher. Since sound is vibration, turning audible waves into sweet and pleasant noises draws others in to hear its beauty. I learned and tested out various pitches while remembering my grammar school choral days for sustainability of a note. The song does not matter as much as the sound, OM and AH seem to be the ones that work the best to balance ones body and space/area. Nope, not going to be appearing on American Idol anytime soon or cut a record or even offer a demo… just not worrying if it’s not good enough, for anyone else to hear. Sing, sing a song.

As I was completing the job I was hired to do, I realized I needed to contact the homeowner and give them some information on the job I was compelled to do. A few paragraphs in an Email aught to do the trick.

“… The other reason for my Email is of a metaphysical one. As you know I tend to “pick up” on various things and always felt when I was cleaning houses I was doing more than wiping down furniture. There is a practice called house clearing were pockets of unbeneficial energy is removed and replaced with love. Kind of like how some houses feel more homey than others or when you go to a house you notice a happier vibe to it, you want to stay and forget about watching the clock counting the minutes till you can leave.

Because of my beliefs I’ve come to understand our homes are a reflection of who we are and what we are personally going through. Including what and who we encounter during our days that may be brought home with us. The point I would like to make is, I did pause during the cleaning of your house today to conduct a form of house clearing. I was getting an uncomfortable feeling and knew that you would benefit from lifting some of the heaviness from your beautiful home.

So, I do hope your house feels better and looks better to you in all aspects 🙂 If you would like to talk more about this, of course I am willing and able. I’m just not sure how much you would like to talk about it or how much you wanted to know but had to bring it to your attention because it was a strong feeling I felt impelled to address it today.”

We have shared a few Emails back and forth since then. They are wonderful people with a home in a lovely part of the state. I hope to talk to them about further protection for the house and wait for that invitation. I won’t push my beliefs on others and am cautious about what I say out loud explaining what I’m feeling or seeing. This stuff isn’t for everyone and I respect that.
