Energy Grid

Energy can be conjured up in many ways. As I am typing this out, I am surrounded by Siri playing a musical station featuring stringed instruments. So lovely how a violin and a viola cut through the air changing vibrations we can feel deeply. Scents attract many species into our space, the nose is keen for an animal’s survival. Essential oils permeate my cells today because I anointed myself before I started writing this blog. A candle glows as oxygen and fire do the tango they have done over thousands of years. Energy involves action in one form or another. We can amply this force by awareness, respect, and involvement (to but name a few ways)!

Grid work is a playful strategy of moving power which is circling us at every moment. Adding good intentions, directing loving suggestions, incorporating pieces of nature helps with coping in day to day life. Turning to the outdoors, taking earth magic and infusing the wonder into our energy field causes shifts in our being. Meditating on the imagery of an energy grid allows ripples and quakes in our mind’s pool of thought. Clarity fused with renewed pep is often the outcome of an energy grid. This is a remote technique and is a fun, colorful way to try out the mystique of shifting day to day life as you know it!

Joyful Noise

Wanting sound around me close to every minute of the day, my need to share this was just about as strong!

Joyful Noise
Lent 16

“Hello, darkness, my old friend.” It may seem like an odd way to start an article about sound but these words were the opening to one of the most iconic songs of the latter half of the twentieth century. It may seem like it would have been better suited as the opening for yesterday’s article about meditation but the silence before the song can be very powerful. It prepares us. It calms us. It provides just enough disorientation that when the sound begins, we are instantly grounded.

Often, in our search to find some calm or peace, we encounter chaos. Instead of heavenly sounds we have nerve-racking noise. While most would agree that a general definition of the word “noise” would be something unpleasant, it is interesting that the word comes from two words that had nothing at all to do with sound in general or…

Day Two of Aromatherapy Auditing

Not exactly sure about all the comments I made today (not to mention the stories) with the group. Because of all the essences on our bodies and in the air, things get rather zany. There are moments of deep thought and pure relaxation followed by anxiety and apprehension settling back into peace and harmony. Because I am so sensitive to energies, it’s rather challenging for me to figure out what my personal struggle is within a group dynamic. Yep, I know it may read like a cop out for not dealing with my problems, not my intention however. There are dramatic pros and cons with involvement in workshops for me. I’m very particular for what I sign up to do and where I go. This aroma group is very special to me. Part of the love I feel is the ability for total strangers to open up and share personal issues. I really do hope it was much different for the group in a positive way but today was a very tough day for me in figuring out which way was up. I am grateful to audit because the time spent is observing in a room filled with fabulous smells and love. I’m loving this audit advantage because I’m sharing the weekend with my journal. Little bottles of essences, full of big beautiful LOVE. All you need is love! (click if you would like some music to read along to)

4-21-12 Know your limits. Believe and trust yourself. Wisely try some different things but take a few seconds first and tune into your inner knowing. Trust with education and body acknowledgment. Stand in your truth. Tune into the plant, aroma, essence and ask to elevate the problem before you. Allow a communication to occur. Unplug your ears and hearts. You will be fine, you’ve gotten this far why not explore a bit more. The better one of us is, the better we all become. Ask questions. If you don’t know who or how you will receive the answer, reset your posture, make a shift, then ask again. Pay attention to your body’s reactions, the reply can come to you as a heartbeat, ache, twitch, lean or pendulum sway.

Something I have come to believe: We are never alone. There is always support all you need to do is ask. Love is abundant.

Resistance, facade, armor… they all take way to much energy to cover who you are. Of course there are times (with love) we dawn a hat to protect those out of our respect with a need to support them. Putting on a hat to act in a way opposite of our true feelings is appropriate at times. Go within, drop the anchor, let it fall without fan-fair (relaxed quote from John). “What you resist, persists” said Wendy. Use your intuition, ask and enjoy how you get the message. Start a new habit. Build upon what you know to be true. Allow health to flourish inside and out, within without.

It is wild how the conversation keeps on spinning amongst the members of the group. Questions are raised with a different structure but all seem to have the answer in common, love. Chapters in our lives fill with suggestions picked up from advice, solicited or not. Aimed at us, for us or not, it all matters. Don’t give away your power. Have a strong support group to surround yourself with blessed family and friends.

Animals have an acute awareness to the aromas and other emotions. Our furry (scaly-feathered-smooth skinned) friends need fewer drops of essences because of their small size in comparison to our body mass. The animal companions mimic many of our troubles, sample our worries, celebrate our joys and take on problems in order for us to have a better day. We love them for many reasons and value their friendship and limitless concern for our well being. Love, love, love.

Believe systems. You have our own sets of values that can be changed whenever you wish. Be respectful. Plants teach from their core from a place of compassion for all life. The plants live this way adhering to their natural cycle dependent on other organisms and environments. They are in harmony with others accompanying the earth. Humans (for the most part) have transplanted and forced an unnatural rhythm upon the plant kingdom. Pushing our needs and wants on another kingdom is not coming from a place of love. No integrity, concern or honor is felt with any invasive action. We should all be more aware of our actions. More thoughtful movements will effect others, no matter how big or small or if they vote or have pockets to carry cash. Humans should strive to mimic the Golden Rule and adhere it to the earth, continuing the love spectrum in a healthy balanced way.

Sharing Angelic Beliefs

The medieval 'Queen Mary harp' Clàrsach na Ban...

I had a very affirming conversation with a woman the other day. Because I was representing the local hospital (Reiki volunteer) a level of professionalism needed to be maintained. All I wanted to do was yell, “Me too!” while pulling up a chair and continuing the convo like school yard buddies reuniting during college’s Thanksgiving break. Keeping my voice low and not waving my arms around while conducting energy work is hard enough here, now finding a new friend who is talking so openly to a stranger (me) makes my heart sing. Some of the topics covered were near death experiences, good and not so good entities, faith, and angels. I would like to devote some WP time to angels and the things I consider to be factual. Again, this is my opinion based on personal experience, stories read, lectures heard, accounts of others (my new friend in particular) and an overwhelming sense of truth on the matter.

Enough proof has been collected over the years and I’m happy to proclaim, angels always have music and song around them. This orchestra and choir is unlike anything us humans have created or heard but it is similar enough for us to interpret as music and song. The woman I met, who prompted this post out of me, concurred as to not fully understanding the sound. We spoke of a few  experiences with our eyes brimming with joy and wonder. Incomprehensible beauty and awe, scored with grace, including a melody of hope and love is an attempt to explain what it sounds like. The written word still falls short of explaining the angelic music. No, interpretive dance would not help either, wink.

The Son of Man

Another fact is angels often come before key players. That was a relaxed and playful way to write, angels clear the way for some of the most loving spirits. Mother Mary and Babaji are two I’m familiar with. Why do angels lead the procession? I can only speculate and guess it is to assist with the balancing of  energy required for the ones behind them. Another ways to say it is, angels help to raise the vibration of the room so the message, blessing or communication  from key speaker, is channeled in a way that’s the most beneficial for all concerned.

Those were the two metaphysical things I learned and now fully believe to be factual after my jam packed 5 and a half hours of volunteering. That day was filled with all types of emotion, covering all levels of the spectrum. Taking a short  break before calling it a day, I sat with one of the nurses in the lunch room. My new friend was heading out too and found me and her nurse in the room. It’s Easter time and her Catholic community performs traditional holy week ceremonies which she actively participates in. As she was telling us about her weekend plans (which included singing) I pictured her dressed in white clothing. Then, more subtle than a breaking news ticker scroll, I heard very clearly in my mind, make sure you tell her to wear white. Just as fast as I was receiving information, she was gone. The prompting had the type of alert to heed, so I excusing myself from the table to chase down my new friend. Pushing the boundaries of professionalism, I shared with her some of the information by saying, if she has the chance,”…wear something white for the events” Not going into too much detail, I kept up my smile and added, “Wearing white might allow some type of blessing to come through clearer and more focused, helping you with whatever healing you needed.” She nodded in understanding and we were  glad to be able to give one another a hug. Hugs are professional, right?

When I got back to my lunch mate, I said with a full heart, “God bless you for being a nurse.” She laughed and said with a mouth full of quiche, “God bless you for volunteering.” Fair enough… fist bump.
