A Deeper Understanding

I had a private energy transmission with a wise woman who brings clean water to the people of Peru. Over the years I have attended workshops Nancy Santullo has led primarily in Connecticut. Her training and life experiences resinate with me and I consider it a privilege to call her a friend. The hour session spent was so  quiet and calm that she commented on the serenity when we were finished. I had felt a deep sense of peace and believed I was able to reach a level of meditation I had never gone into before. Generally it is difficult for me to sit still. Over the years, my aging has slowed me down considerably. Very rarely are self pampering appointments done with little talking on my part. With Nancy, I was at ease while maintaining a place of awareness I would consider transcendental.

My new understanding of meditation achieved from last Friday still has me reflecting on that hour’s magical shifts. The art form of being still has finally sunk into my soul which I deem a spiritual awakening. Looking up Transcendental Meditation, it’s a practice founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and only correctly learned from trained certified personal. Of course there are books and many research programs from the 70’s to the present validating the benefits of Transcendental Meditation (TM).

From the Mayo Clinic as appears on the TM website:

“Transcendental meditation is a simple, natural technique… This form of meditation allows your body to settle into a state of profound rest and relaxation and your mind to achieve a state of inner peace, without needing to use concentration or effort.”
